My son’s first attempt at the “Ham radio movie”. Thank you Edwill, even though the landscape is slowly changing, this movie is an awesome dedication to my life as a radio amateur.

Antique Wireless QSO party
This past weekend I took part in the AWA QSO party. The first day was AM only from 15:00 to 19:00 CAT. I made 21 AM contacts which is more than I can remember on this mode in over 37 years!
I used my trusty FT101EE which I bought while in the army in 1977. I have recently starting downgrading the fixed station but will always hold the FT101EE close to my heart. My main focus in amateur radio today is rapid deployment and it feels like a natural migration to running equipment that is more easily moveable.
